WHAT:  5th grade students meet and engage in Q&A with Mae Respicio, Bay Area author of The House That Lou Built

WHY:  Celebrating World Read-Aloud Day;  deepening understanding of the writing process; exposing students to first-hand information about writing and publishing; piquing curiosity and building excitement about books and reading
